The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has officially opened applications for the Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC) Graduate Recruitment 2026, inviting candidates to fill 5810 vacancies across six key positions. The application window, which began on October 21, 2025, will close on November 20, 2025, at 11:59 PM. Candidates can submit their applications through any of the official RRB websites, with the deadline for application fee payment set for November 22, 2025. A modification window for applications is available from November 23 to December 2, 2025.
The vacancies include roles such as Chief Commercial cum Ticket Supervisor (161 posts), Station Master (615 posts), Goods Train Manager (3416 posts), Junior Accounts Assistant cum Typist (921 posts), Senior Clerk cum Typist (638 posts), and Traffic Assistant (59 posts). These positions offer a pay scale ranging from Rs 25,500 to Rs 35,400, with an age eligibility of 18 to 33 years. The application fee is Rs 500 for general candidates and Rs 250 for SC, ST, Ex-Servicemen, Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD), Female, Transgender, Minorities, or Economically Backward Class (EBC) candidates, payable exclusively online.
The recruitment process is structured to ensure a rigorous and merit-based selection. It comprises a 1st Stage Computer Based Test (CBT) and a 2nd Stage CBT, both mandatory for all posts, with each test lasting 120 minutes. Depending on the post, candidates may also need to undergo a Computer Based Typing Skill Test (CBTST) or a Computer Based Aptitude Test (CBAT), though these are not required for Goods Train Manager and Chief Commercial cum Ticket Supervisor positions. The process concludes with Document Verification and a Medical Examination.
