Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Saturday attended the “Youth for Viksit Bharat – MY Bharat Youth Convention” held at the Thyagaraj Sports Complex, where she urged young people to actively participate in nation-building and focus on improving both their personal lives and the future of the country. The event brought together thousands of participants from across India and featured the felicitation of young achievers from various fields.
Addressing the gathering, the Chief Minister said that India’s youth, known for their vision, creativity, and courage, should work in close alignment with national development goals. She emphasised that the energy and potential of young citizens must be channelled towards building a stronger and more developed nation, while also shaping their own careers and aspirations. Her remarks highlighted the importance of youth engagement in long-term development initiatives.
The convention was also attended by Union Minister Mansukh Mandaviya, who joined the programme as part of the government’s broader outreach to empower young people under national development schemes. The event focused on encouraging innovation, skill development, and leadership among youth, with several achievers being recognised for their contributions in different sectors.

Other participants, including Bihar MLA Maithili Thakur, also praised the initiative, noting the enthusiasm and commitment of young attendees from across the country.
