Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a breakfast meeting with newly elected National Democratic Alliance members of the Lok Sabha and urged them to participate actively in parliamentary proceedings, according to sources. The gathering also included Trinamool Congress rebels and six former MPs from the Uddhav Thackeray-led Shiv Sena faction who had subsequently aligned with the ruling coalition.
