Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to meet all BJP legislators from Haryana, along with Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini and state BJP president Dr Archana Gupta, in New Delhi on October 3. The meeting is expected to take place in the afternoon, with reports indicating that Modi has allocated about two hours for the interaction. The BJP has 48 legislators in the 90-member Haryana Assembly.
The meeting comes amid political discussions surrounding the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls. Reports citing party sources said the interaction is expected to cover the political situation in Haryana and organisational matters, while SIR and the response to Opposition criticism are also likely to feature in discussions. The formal agenda has not been publicly announced.
The legislators are expected to meet Saini and Gupta before their interaction with the Prime Minister. According to reports, the Haryana BJP MLAs are scheduled to have lunch with the Chief Minister at Haryana Bhawan before proceeding for the meeting with Modi. The gathering will bring together the state government and BJP's legislative organisation for a collective interaction with the Prime Minister.

The meeting also follows a recent organisational reshuffle within the BJP. Former Union Minister Smriti Irani was appointed the party's in-charge for Haryana and Chhattisgarh, while Satish Poonia was assigned responsibility for Jammu and Kashmir and Punjab. The changes were part of appointments made by BJP president Nitin Nabin for organisational positions across states and Union Territories.
The October 3 interaction is also taking place as the BJP focuses on its organisational activities in Punjab ahead of the state's next Assembly election. Recent reporting has linked the party's Punjab preparations with issues including drug-related concerns and other matters being raised in its political campaign. However, the Haryana meeting itself is primarily being described in reports as an interaction involving the state's legislators, government and party organisation.
The meeting will provide an opportunity for the Haryana BJP legislators to present feedback on state-level political and organisational matters directly to the Prime Minister. With the BJP's recent organisational changes and the ongoing debate over electoral-roll revision forming part of the wider political backdrop, the interaction is expected to cover the party's functioning and governance priorities in Haryana.
