The ninth edition of Pariksha Pe Charcha (PPC), Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s flagship annual interactive programme with students, teachers and parents, is taking place today, Friday, February 6, 2026, at 10 a.m. IST. The event aims to offer guidance on examination preparation, stress management and motivation as the board examination season approaches across India.
Started in 2018, Pariksha Pe Charcha has grown into a nationwide educational outreach initiative where the Prime Minister engages directly with “Exam Warriors” — students and their families — to discuss both academic and emotional challenges. This year’s programme has reportedly drawn record participation, with registrations exceeding those of the 2025 edition, indicating heightened interest among students, educators and parents.
The 2026 session will be broadcast live through an array of traditional and digital platforms. Viewers across India can tune in via Doordarshan channels including DD National and DD News, private television networks, All India Radio, as well as online streams on YouTube and other social media channels. The aim is to ensure widespread access for audiences in both urban and rural areas.

In Gujarat, state education officials have publicly instructed schools to facilitate student participation by adjusting class schedules for the session and uploading attendance and participation photos to the MyGov portal by the end of the day. Schools from Classes 6 to 12 are expected to be actively involved, along with teachers and parents, in accordance with these directives.
Educational experts view Pariksha Pe Charcha as an important component of India’s broader effort to address the pressures associated with high-stakes examinations. By fostering open dialogue and offering strategies for managing stress and maintaining a positive mindset, the programme seeks to provide practical support to learners navigating one of the most demanding periods of the academic year.
As students log in or tune in for today’s event, organizers and authorities alike are emphasizing the session’s motivational and educational value, hoping that the Prime Minister’s guidance will resonate with young participants countrywide
