Prime Minister Narendra Modi made a striking entrance at a public function in Bihar’s East Champaran district on Friday, arriving in a saffron-painted, flower-adorned open jeep. Greeted by enthusiastic chants of “Modi! Modi!” from the crowd, the PM waved and folded his hands in acknowledgment at the Motihari venue.
Accompanied by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and Deputy Chief Ministers Samrat Choudhary and Vijay Kumar Sinha, Modi’s arrival underscored the National Democratic Alliance’s (NDA) solidarity ahead of the Bihar Assembly elections later this year. The event, marked by heightened security, saw the leaders projecting a united front.
This marks another instance of Modi opting for an open vehicle at Bihar rallies, a tactic seen in recent visits to connect directly with supporters. The vibrant display and strong NDA presence signal an aggressive campaign push in the state.
