Prime Minister Narendra Modi met a delegation of South Korean special envoys, led by former Prime Minister Kim Boo-kyum, in New Delhi on Thursday, reinforcing the India-South Korea Special Strategic Partnership as it marks its 10th anniversary. Modi emphasized the partnership’s growth in innovation, defence, shipbuilding, and skilled workforce mobility.
In a post on X, Modi described the meeting as “delightful” and recalled his recent discussions with South Korean President Lee Jae Myung in Canada last month. He underscored that collaboration between the two democracies fosters peace, stability, and prosperity in the Indo-Pacific region.
The visit follows External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar’s talks with the same delegation, focusing on economy, technology, and maritime security.
