Passengers aboard IndiGo flight 6E 2482 from Delhi endured a tense moment at Patna’s Jayaprakash Narayan International Airport when the aircraft briefly touched down before abruptly taking off again. The incident, which occurred at 9 pm on Tuesday, was attributed to an unstable approach, according to airport officials.
The pilot, realizing the aircraft might lack sufficient runway to stop safely, opted to take off immediately after touchdown. After circling briefly, the plane landed safely, carrying all 173 passengers unharmed.
