Samajwadi Party leader Akhilesh Yadav praised the Indian armed forces for their courage in Operation Sindoor, claiming they could have captured Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (PoK) with more time. Speaking to reporters in the Parliament complex, Yadav criticized the government’s focus on Pakistan for electoral gains, emphasizing China as the greater threat.
Yadav lauded the bravery of the forces, stating, “Operation Sindoor showcased their valor. Given more opportunity, they might have secured PoK.” He raised concerns about the untraced terrorists behind the recent Pahalgam attack, questioning, “Where have they vanished?”
Highlighting China’s growing influence, Yadav urged the government to ban Chinese imports for a decade and promote Swadeshi products. “The government’s Pakistan rhetoric is vote-driven, but China is the real danger,” he said. He called for a robust policy to counter China’s economic dominance, advocating self-reliance to strengthen India’s position.
