Hollywood star Halle Berry has confirmed her engagement to musician Van Hunt after nearly five years of dating. The announcement put an end to months of speculation surrounding the couple’s relationship. Berry shared the news during a recent television appearance, where she addressed confusion about their wedding plans. She made it clear that she had said “yes” to Hunt’s proposal. Berry revealed the engagement while appearing on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. Responding to rumors that she had rejected Hunt’s proposal, the Oscar-winning actress clarified that there was never a refusal. She explained that while there is no fixed timeline for the wedding, she fully agreed to marry him. During the show, Berry also showed off her engagement ring. She joked that Hunt had “put a little ring on it,” drawing laughter from the audience.

Van Hunt had earlier disclosed in mid-2025 that he had proposed to Berry, though the proposal remained unofficial at the time.
