Indian Air Force Chief Air Chief Marshal A P Singh declared Operation Sindoor a “national victory,” crediting the seamless coordination of India’s armed forces and the collective will of the nation.
Speaking at the CII Business Summit, Singh emphasized the operation’s professionalism, stating, “All agencies and forces came together, and when truth is with you, everything falls into place. I think God was with us too.”
Launched on May 7, 2025, Operation Sindoor was India’s resolute response to the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack, which claimed 26 lives, mostly tourists.
