The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) will begin registration for the October 2026 session of the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) on September 11, 2026. The application link will be activated on the official NBEMS website from 5 PM onwards. Candidates seeking to appear for the screening examination will be required to complete the application process within the prescribed timeline.
The detailed information bulletin for the examination is also scheduled to be released on September 11 along with the opening of the application window. Candidates will be able to submit their applications until September 29, 2026. NBEMS has advised applicants to carefully go through the information bulletin before filling out the form, particularly the eligibility requirements, examination pattern, fee details and other instructions.
The FMGE October 2026 examination is scheduled to be held on October 31, 2026. The examination will be conducted in computer-based mode at designated centres across the country. Candidates should keep track of the official schedule and ensure that their application is completed before the deadline, as applications submitted after the prescribed closing date may not be accepted.
