Delhi Police have deployed Facial Recognition System (FRS) cameras at Jantar Mantar, where thousands of people have gathered to protest over the alleged NEET paper leak, according to sources. The move is aimed at strengthening security at the protest site and preventing anti-social and criminal elements from entering the gathering. The demonstrations have continued in the national capital, with protesters demanding accountability and the resignation of Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.

According to police sources, the facial recognition system has been installed at key entry and exit points around the protest venue. Officials said the technology will be used to identify individuals with criminal records or those wanted by law enforcement agencies who may attempt to enter the protest site. Sources clarified that the deployment of the facial recognition cameras is not intended to identify or track genuine protesters participating peacefully in the demonstrations.
