Supporters of the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) continued to gather at Jantar Mantar on Tuesday despite the dismantling of the protest stage following Monday's clashes in the national capital. Among those who returned was a 21-year-old student who came back to the protest site shortly after being discharged from hospital, underscoring the determination of demonstrators to continue their campaign.
The student, identified as Vikas, said he had sustained injuries during the march towards Parliament on Monday and was taken to hospital for treatment. After being discharged, he returned directly to Jantar Mantar wearing a white medical gown and blue shoe covers. Speaking at the protest site, he said he intended to continue participating in the demonstrations despite the injuries he had suffered.
A resident of Haryana and a second-year Bachelor of Arts student, Vikas said he had been attending the protest for the past three days. He appealed to other students and supporters to join the movement, stating that he would continue returning to Jantar Mantar as long as the demands of the protesters remained unaddressed.

The protest stage at Jantar Mantar, which had served as the centre of the CJP's campaign seeking the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan over alleged examination irregularities, was dismantled on Monday following the large-scale protests and clashes that occurred during the march towards Parliament. However, the removal of the stage has not prevented supporters from continuing to assemble at the site.
The demonstrations began over allegations related to the NEET examination and other examination-related issues and have continued to draw students and activists from several states. The protests intensified after clashes between demonstrators and police during Monday's march, resulting in injuries, detentions and heightened security across central Delhi.
Police have maintained a strong security presence around Jantar Mantar and other sensitive locations in the capital to prevent further unrest. While the protest site no longer has its original stage, supporters have indicated that they intend to continue gathering peacefully, keeping the movement active as political debate over the examination controversy continues.
