A little boy who was left frightened and crying at a Delhi Metro station was reunited with his parents after a Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) jawan stayed with him and helped ensure he was not left alone. The emotional reunion was captured on video and has since drawn widespread attention on social media.

The video, shared on Instagram by a user named Roshan, shows the boy waiting at the metro station as his parents eventually arrive. His mother is seen rushing towards him after getting off a train, followed closely by his father. She then embraces the child tightly, comforting him after what appears to have been a distressing separation in the crowded public space.

The child’s reunion with his parents brought visible relief to the family. During the emotional moment, a fellow passenger also offered the parents advice on helping the boy remember a phone number. The passenger pointed out that although the child knew his home address, memorising a contact number could help him reach his family more easily if he became separated from them again.

The CISF jawan who stayed with the child also reassured the family during the reunion. He told them, “Tension matt lo, hum log lage hain seva mein,” which means, “Don’t worry, we are here to serve and help.” His calm response highlighted the role played by security personnel in assisting passengers, particularly children who may become separated from their families at busy transport hubs.

The video has received more than 1.4 million views and generated numerous reactions from viewers. Several social media users expressed appreciation for the CISF personnel’s intervention and for staying with the frightened child until his parents were found. The footage also prompted comments about the importance of children knowing basic emergency contact information when travelling through crowded public places.

The incident has since become a widely shared example of a tense situation ending with a safe family reunion. While the video focuses on the emotional moment when the boy is reunited with his parents, the CISF jawan’s presence throughout the episode also drew attention from viewers who praised his reassuring approach towards the child.
