Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai on Friday presented the state government’s two-year report card, emphasizing accelerated development driven by public welfare schemes and adherence to the “Modi Guarantees.” Speaking at the New Circuit House in Raipur, CM Sai stated that public trust in the government has strengthened due to its steadfast commitment to the people’s mandate.
Under the banner of welfare and farmers’ upliftment, the government has launched initiatives with far-reaching impact. The Mahatari Vandan Yojana provides ₹1,000 monthly assistance to nearly 70 lakh women, with ₹14,306 crore disbursed via Direct Benefit Transfer across 22 installments. Paddy procurement continues at ₹3,100 per quintal and 21 quintals per acre, while tribal families have benefited from higher tendu patta rates and schemes like Charan Paduka Yojana.
Housing and social security have also been prioritized. Over 18 lakh PM Awas units were sanctioned immediately after the government took office, and free ration is being provided to 73 lakh poor families. These steps aim to ensure economic stability and improve living standards across the state, particularly in rural and tribal regions.

In governance and youth initiatives, transparency and accountability have been key priorities. Over 400 governance reforms have been implemented, including the establishment of the Good Governance and Convergence Department, Atal Monitoring Portal, and e-Office to digitize scheme oversight.
Security and infrastructure development have seen unprecedented focus. Anti-Maoist operations have led to 505 neutralizations, 2,386 surrenders, and 1,901 arrests, while schemes like Niyad Nella Naar are connecting remote Bastar villages to basic services. Road construction is ongoing across 2,000 kilometers, rail projects exceeding ₹47,000 crore are underway, and air connectivity has expanded with new airports and flights in Bilaspur, Jagdalpur, and Ambikapur.
CM Sai highlighted that the double-engine government’s mission is to ensure security, development, and good governance, with a vision to transform Chhattisgarh into one of India’s leading states by 2047. The report card portrays a government focused on welfare, infrastructure, and strategic reforms aimed at long-term growth.
