The Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education (CGBSE) has officially released the datesheet for the Class 10 and Class 12 board examinations for the year 2026. The timely announcement of the schedule allows students to plan their study routines and organize their preparation well in advance. The datesheet is now available for download on the official website cgbse.nic.in.
For Class 10 students, the theory exams are scheduled to begin on February 21, 2026, and conclude on March 13, 2026. The board examinations for Class 12 will start a day earlier, on February 20, 2026, and end on March 18, 2026. The examination timings for both classes are set from 9:00 AM to 12:15 PM. Students are advised to be present at the exam center by 9:00 AM sharp, with the exam officially starting at 9:15 AM after a brief reading period for the question paper.
In addition to the theory exams, practical examinations have been planned from January 1 to January 20, 2026, giving students ample time to complete practical assessments ahead of theory tests. This structured timeline aims to alleviate last-minute pressure and optimize students' performance by providing adequate preparation gaps between exams.

The official datesheet includes subject-wise schedules with the first papers being Hindi for Class 10 and Geography and Physics for Class 12.
