The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) has opened online registrations for its CEPTAM-11 recruitment drive, offering 764 vacancies for Senior Technical Assistant-B (STA-B) and Technician-A (Tech-A) posts across various laboratories and establishments. The process began on December 11, 2025, allowing eligible candidates to apply through the official website, drdo.gov.in, for roles in the Defence Research & Development Technical Cadre (DRTC).
Out of the total vacancies, 561 are designated for Senior Technical Assistant-B positions, requiring a B.Sc. degree or a three-year diploma in relevant engineering disciplines, while 203 are for Technician-A roles, open to candidates with Class 10 certification plus an ITI in the specified trade. The age limit is 18-28 years as of the crucial date, with relaxations applicable for reserved categories as per government norms.
Interested applicants must complete and submit their online forms by January 1, 2026 (11:55 PM), followed by payment of the application fee by January 3, 2026 (11:55 PM). A correction window will be available from January 4 to January 6, 2026, enabling candidates to rectify errors in their submissions.

The selection process involves Tier-I and Tier-II computer-based tests, potentially followed by trade/skill tests for Technician-A posts, document verification, and medical examination. Salaries align with the 7th Central Pay Commission, ranging from Level-2 (Rs 19,900-63,200) for Technician-A to Level-6 (Rs 35,400-112,400) for STA-B, along with allowances.
