Union Home Minister Amit Shah issued a sharp warning to India’s adversaries on Thursday, declaring that anyone who threatens the country’s citizens, borders, or armed forces will face serious consequences.
Speaking at an event in Jaipur, Shah referenced Operation Sindoor, the recent cross-border military action launched in response to the Pahalgam terror attack. He emphasized that India, under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, has shed its earlier image of passive diplomacy and now acts with decisive force.
“After Uri, there was a surgical strike. Following Pulwama, an airstrike was launched. And after the Pahalgam attack, Operation Sindoor destroyed terrorist camps inside Pakistan,” Shah said. “Modi has shown that India will not tolerate aggression. A clear message has gone out: don’t mess with India.”

Highlighting the contrast with previous governments, Shah said that terror attacks were almost a daily occurrence during Congress rule, while the Modi-led administration has prioritized national security with a firm hand.
He added that Modi's leadership has not only ensured security but also transformed India into the world’s fourth-largest economy, lifting over 22 crore people out of poverty.
The remarks come amid rising geopolitical tensions and a renewed push by the government to showcase its national security achievements ahead of upcoming state and general elections.
Amit Shah’s message was direct: India’s new doctrine is one of strength, swift retaliation, and zero tolerance toward threats.
