The Andhra Pradesh government has cleared investment proposals worth ₹9.36 lakh crore in the 22 months since it assumed office in June 2024, according to State Minister for Information and Public Relations and Housing Kolusu Parthasarathy. The announcement was made on Friday after a Cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu.
Officials said the approved investments are expected to generate large-scale employment opportunities, with projections indicating the creation of around 9.62 lakh jobs across multiple sectors. The government described the approvals as part of its broader push to accelerate industrial growth and attract global and domestic investors to the state.
In the latest round of approvals, the Cabinet cleared 16 projects in the information technology, electronics, and communications sectors with a combined investment of ₹17,459 crore. These projects alone are expected to generate approximately 36,411 jobs, further strengthening the state’s focus on knowledge-based industries.

Among the key proposals approved were data centre projects in Visakhapatnam and Anakapalli districts. The government also sanctioned an IT park project by Credence Realty in Visakhapatnam, which falls under the state’s IT Campus Developer category and is expected to generate around 6,500 jobs with an investment of ₹386.88 crore.
Additional approvals included land allocation for Feuji Software Solutions for an IT/ITeS campus and Sritech Data Limited for a cable landing station in Visakhapatnam. These projects are part of Andhra Pradesh’s strategy to position Visakhapatnam as a major technology and digital infrastructure hub in southern India.
Officials further stated that the Cabinet also approved manufacturing-related projects, including facilities for consumer electronics and appliances by PG Technoplast Private Limited. The initiative is expected to expand production capacity, support research and development, and create nearly 2,910 jobs, contributing to the state’s industrial diversification efforts.
