The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) concluded its three-day Akhil Bharatiya Pratinidhi Sabha in Bengaluru on Sunday, passing a resolution to build a "harmonious and organised Hindu society" aimed at promoting world peace and prosperity. The event, attended by RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat, general secretary Dattatreya Hosabale, BJP president J.P. Nadda, and heads of 32 affiliated outfits, underscored India’s role as an ancient civilization with the wisdom to unite humanity.
In its resolution, the RSS emphasized that India’s rich traditions offer a blueprint for a harmonious world, countering divisive and destructive tendencies. "Our thought ensures peace and oneness among all beings," the resolution stated, asserting that a Hindu society rooted in 'Dharma,' collective strength, and self-confidence is essential to fulfill its global responsibilities.
The RSS called for a model society free of discrimination, built on value-based, eco-friendly families committed to civic duties. "This resolve will create a spiritually enriched and materially prosperous national life, addressing societal challenges," it added.
The Akhil Bharatiya Pratinidhi Sabha urged swayamsevaks to lead by example, collaborating with righteous forces to present Bharat as a global beacon of harmony.
The Sangh also honored Rani Abakka, the 16th-century queen of Ullal, on her 500th anniversary, celebrating her fierce resistance against Portuguese aggression. The resolution reflects the RSS’s vision of a unified Hindu society contributing to both national strength and global well-being, aligning with its long-standing ideological goals.
