Defence Minister Rajnath Singh issued a stern warning to Pakistan during his visit to the Indian Air Force base in Bhuj, Gujarat, stating that it is on “probation” and will face dire repercussions if it resumes terror activities.
Addressing soldiers, Singh likened Pakistan to a “habitual offender” under watch, emphasizing that the current ceasefire is not a free pass. “If Pakistan engages in misadventures again, our forces will teach it a firm lesson,” he declared.
Singh underscored the resolve of ‘New India,’ asserting that any threat to national sovereignty would meet severe consequences. He lauded the troops for ‘Operation Sindoor,’ describing it as a testament to their bravery, not mere adornment.

“This ‘sindoor’ symbolizes your resolve to decimate those who threaten Bharat Mata,” he said, commending the operation’s success in showcasing India’s military might.
Highlighting India’s shift from a weapons importer to an exporter, Singh noted, “Once reliant on foreign arms, India now produces and exports indigenous weapons, earning global recognition.”
He cited ‘Operation Sindoor’ as proof of India’s growing defense capabilities, signaling a new era of self-reliance. The minister’s remarks reflect India’s firm stance against cross-border threats and its ambition to strengthen its global defense stature.
