Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar on Monday asserted that the Election Commission will “leave no stone unturned” to ensure fear-free and transparent elections in West Bengal, amid heightened political tensions and concerns over poll-related violence in the state.

Addressing officials and stakeholders ahead of upcoming electoral exercises, Kumar emphasised the Commission’s commitment to maintaining the integrity of the democratic process. He said comprehensive measures are being put in place to guarantee that voters can exercise their franchise without intimidation, coercion, or undue influence.
