Satish Sanpal, the Dubai-based entrepreneur and chairman of ANAX Holding, has come under scrutiny following details of multiple criminal cases, a Look Out Circular (LOC), and legal proceedings that have emerged alongside his appearance on Netflix reality show 'Desi Bling'. Sanpal and his wife Tabinda Sanpal gained public attention after the show showcased their lavish lifestyle, featuring luxury properties, expensive cars, designer fashion, jewellery, and high-end experiences in Dubai. The couple's extravagant lifestyle became one of the most discussed aspects of the show, with their displays of wealth attracting significant attention on social media.
In one episode, Tabinda spoke about their gold collection, stating that she owned around 40 kilograms of gold and that Satish frequently gifted her gold jewellery, including during festivals such as Dhanteras. The statement highlighted the scale of their luxury lifestyle, which became a major talking point among viewers. However, legal records have revealed a separate aspect of Sanpal's public profile. According to court documents, nine criminal cases were registered against him in Madhya Pradesh, and a Look Out Circular was issued against him in 2022.
The LOC was opened at the request of the Superintendent of Police, Jabalpur, on August 5, 2022, according to an order passed by the Delhi High Court in February 2026. The legal proceedings have continued even as Sanpal has maintained his public presence as a businessman and television personality. A Delhi High Court order dated May 6, 2026, which provided interim relief to Sanpal against 21 publishers, recorded submissions made by his legal representatives regarding the criminal cases. According to the order, Sanpal had secured bail in eight of the nine cases registered against him.

In the remaining case, he was accused of a bailable offence and was reportedly in the process of obtaining bail. The court proceedings highlight the contrast between the public image presented through entertainment platforms and the legal matters involving the entrepreneur. While 'Desi Bling' focused on luxury, wealth, and the couple's lifestyle in Dubai, the criminal cases and legal actions have brought increased attention to Sanpal's background and business dealings. Sanpal is the chairman of ANAX Holding, a Dubai-based company with interests in multiple sectors.
His profile as an entrepreneur and his association with Dubai's luxury lifestyle scene helped make him a prominent figure among viewers of the Netflix show. However, the emergence of legal documents relating to criminal cases has led to greater scrutiny of his activities and personal history. The Look Out Circular mechanism is used by Indian authorities to prevent individuals facing legal proceedings from leaving or entering the country without proper clearance. Such notices are generally issued in cases where authorities believe monitoring an individual's movement may be necessary during an investigation or legal process.
As of now, the legal matters involving Sanpal remain subject to court proceedings, and allegations in criminal cases have not been established as convictions. The entrepreneur has received interim relief in certain legal proceedings, while the courts continue to examine the matters before them. The developments surrounding Satish Sanpal reflect the growing public scrutiny faced by high-profile individuals whose personal lives are showcased through digital entertainment platforms. While his luxury lifestyle attracted widespread attention through 'Desi Bling', the ongoing legal proceedings have added another layer to the public discussion surrounding the Dubai-based businessman.
