A notorious criminal, Khemchand, 35, from Seelampur, was apprehended by Delhi Police following a tense shootout in east Delhi’s Ghazipur paper market on Tuesday.
Wanted in over a dozen cases, the absconding suspect fired at officers after refusing to surrender, police said. In response, the team shot him in the leg, neutralizing the threat. The operation, based on a tip-off, marks a significant breakthrough in tracking the elusive criminal.
