A group of three to four unidentified men broke into a bungalow in Pune’s Nigdi Pradhikaran area on Saturday night, tied up an elderly businessman, and fled with valuables, police reported.
The robbery occurred around 9 pm in Pimpri Chinchwad, prompting an immediate response from local authorities.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (Crime), Pimpri Chinchwad, Shivaji Pawar, stated, “Preliminary investigations indicate that the intruders restrained the occupant and searched the house.” While the exact items stolen are still being verified, authorities suspect the robbers escaped with valuable possessions.

The victim, a local businessman, was unharmed but shaken. Police have launched a thorough investigation to identify and apprehend the culprits.
