A tragic incident claimed the life of Ravindra Dansena, a 43-year-old deputy manager at JSW Steel Ltd’s plant in Naharpali village, Raigarh district, Chhattisgarh. The accident occurred in the morning at the sinter plant section’s yard, under the Bhupdeopur police station limits, according to Prabhat Patel, Sub-Division Officer of Police (SDOP), Kharsia town.

Following the incident, Dansena, a resident of Tarapur in Raigarh, was immediately rushed to Jindal Fortis Hospital, where doctors pronounced him dead. The police have withheld specific details of the accident pending further investigation. The deceased’s body was sent to the district hospital for a post-mortem examination.

Authorities have launched a probe to determine the circumstances surrounding the fatal incident, with officials working to ascertain the cause and ensure accountability. The tragedy has raised concerns about workplace safety at the steel plant, as investigations continue to uncover the factors leading to this devastating loss.
