Gujarat Police have arrested all eight accused involved in the alleged kidnapping and gang-rape of a 15-year-old minor girl in Navsari district. The swift arrests followed a complaint filed by the victim's mother after the girl returned home and recounted the horrific ordeal that occurred on Wednesday night.
The breakthrough came when the victim identified three of the abductors as her own friends during initial questioning by Vansda police and the Navsari Local Crime Branch. Police immediately detained these three individuals, who then revealed the identities of the remaining five accomplices, leading to the full roundup of the group.
Authorities acted promptly after the girl disclosed that the three men who initially forced her onto a motorcycle were known to her. From there, investigators extracted details of the others who joined later at the check dam where the assault took place. All eight suspects are now in custody.

The incident has sent shockwaves through the community, underscoring the betrayal of trust as three of the perpetrators were acquaintances of the victim. Police have assured strict action, emphasizing zero tolerance for such crimes against minors while providing necessary support to the survivor and her family.
