Over 45 schools in Delhi received bomb threat emails and calls on Friday morning, the fourth such incident this week, causing panic among students, parents, and staff.
The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) accused the BJP-led Centre of allowing a ‘jungle raj’ in the capital, failing to ensure children’s safety. “Parents face extreme distress, rushing to schools after threat calls,” said AAP’s Delhi unit chief Saurabh Bharadwaj, criticizing the government’s inaction. He added, “Agencies work tirelessly for political interests, but do nothing for public welfare.”
Delhi Police and quick-response teams conducted evacuations and searches, but AAP claims the Centre lacks a strategy to address these repeated scares. “This is about our children’s safety—what will it take for action?” Bharadwaj asked.
The BJP has not responded to the allegations.
