A shocking and violent incident unfolded in Delhi's Laxmi Nagar neighborhood on January 2, where a family faced brutal physical assaults, alleged molestation, and public humiliation stemming from a protracted dispute over a commercial gym operation. Authorities have obtained clear CCTV footage of the entire episode, which has aided in the swift registration of a criminal case and the arrest of one suspect, while the search continues for others involved.
Rajesh Garg, the primary victim, jointly runs a gymnasium located in the basement of his residential property with his wife. On the day of the incident, the couple visited the basement to investigate and repair a reported water leakage. It was at this moment that Satish Yadav, the employed caretaker of the gym, arrived with a group of associates, leading to an immediate and aggressive confrontation that rapidly turned physical.
The assault intensified as the group reportedly subjected Garg to repeated punches and kicks, while his wife faced alleged molestation and further violence, including being dragged by her hair and struck multiple times. When their son intervened upon hearing the disturbance, the assailants overpowered him, forcibly removed him to the open street in front of the family home, stripped him completely naked, and proceeded to beat him severely in view of neighbors and passersby, resulting in serious injuries such as head trauma and dental damage.

In her detailed statement recorded in the First Information Report, Garg's wife recounted the sequence of events, emphasizing that Satish Yadav had been engaged purely in a caretaker capacity with no conferred ownership rights over the business. She further alleged that previous attempts to resolve the dispute and request his departure had repeatedly met with threatening and violent behavior from him, escalating tensions that culminated in this extreme outbreak.
Law enforcement officials have taken Satish Yadav into custody as the main accused, charging him under multiple sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita related to assault, sexual harassment, wrongful restraint, and criminal intimidation. Three additional individuals identified as Vikas Yadav, Shubham Yadav, and Omkar Yadav remain fugitives, with active police operations underway to locate and apprehend them. The victims have reported ongoing physical injuries, including facial swelling, bruises, and mobility issues, highlighting the severity of the attack.
