A luxury car owner has been booked after performing a dangerous high-speed drifting stunt with a Lamborghini at Anil Kumble Circle on MG Road, police said. The incident, which occurred in the early hours between 2 a.m. and 3 a.m., has sparked concern over reckless driving on city roads after a video of the stunt went viral on social media.
According to officials, the driver was seen executing sharp drifts at the busy junction, effectively turning the public road into a stunt zone. The act posed a serious risk to other motorists and pedestrians, particularly given the central location of MG Road, one of Bengaluru’s most frequented areas.
The footage, reportedly captured through surveillance cameras and shared widely online, shows the high-performance vehicle skidding across the intersection. Based on the vehicle’s registration details, the Cubbon Park police registered a First Information Report (FIR) against the owner for endangering public safety and violating traffic regulations.
