A 24-year-old delivery agent was allegedly murdered in Gurugram, with his body later found hidden inside an iron trunk in Sector-54, police said on Tuesday. Investigators have arrested two men in connection with the case, which authorities believe was linked to a personal dispute involving an alleged extramarital relationship.
The deceased was identified as Aman, a delivery worker. According to police, the killing is suspected to have taken place three to four days before the body was recovered. After the murder, the accused allegedly concealed the body inside a metal trunk, locked it and fled the location in an attempt to avoid detection.
Police said the two accused, identified as Sonu Kumar, 19, and Mohammad Miraj, 20, both natives of Bihar, were later arrested during the investigation. Officers traced leads through local enquiries and technical surveillance before detaining the suspects for questioning. Further forensic and circumstantial evidence is also being examined.

During interrogation, Sonu allegedly told police that he was involved in a relationship with the victim’s wife, identified as Sunita. Investigators said Aman had reportedly learned about the relationship, which led to tensions and a dispute between those involved. Police suspect the confrontation escalated into a planned or violent attack.
Authorities have registered a murder case and launched a broader investigation into the sequence of events, possible involvement of others and the exact motive. The case has drawn attention due to the disturbing manner in which the body was concealed. Police said further action will follow based on evidence collected during the probe.
