A 13-year-old girl was allegedly sexually assaulted by four individuals, including two minors, at a lodge in Secunderabad, Telangana, sparking widespread concern over child safety. The incident came to light when the girl’s family reported her missing on December 5 from Sangareddy district.
According to police sources, the girl was found alone in Secunderabad on December 8 by the four accused. They introduced themselves to her and subsequently took her to a lodge room, where the alleged sexual assault occurred. The girl later informed the police about the attack, leading to her rescue from the lodge during an ongoing investigation.
The authorities have arrested two of the adult accused and sent them to judicial remand. Meanwhile, the two minors allegedly involved have been placed in an Observation Home as per juvenile justice procedures. The police are continuing their investigation to uncover more details and apprehend any other possible suspects.
