The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) will honour five Indian teams that won major international titles over the past year during its annual awards ceremony scheduled for March 15 in the national capital. The event, titled ‘NAMAN’, will celebrate India’s recent success in global cricket tournaments across different formats and age groups.
According to BCCI secretary Devajit Saikia, the ceremony will recognise members of the India national cricket team that won the ICC Men's T20 World Cup, along with players and coaching staff from other successful Indian squads. Teams set to be honoured include the senior men’s side, the senior women’s team, and the Under-19 boys’ and girls’ teams that secured International Cricket Council (ICC) trophies during the 2025 season.
The awards night will also recognise the squad that won the ICC Champions Trophy in 2025, bringing the total number of ICC title-winning Indian teams being celebrated to five. Saikia said the ceremony aims to acknowledge the collective achievements of players, coaches, and support staff who contributed to India’s strong performance in international cricket over the past year.

The event is expected to be hosted at a five-star hotel near the airport in New Delhi, allowing players from the senior men’s team to travel quickly to their respective franchise camps ahead of the upcoming Indian Premier League season, which is set to begin on March 28. Several players are scheduled to join their teams shortly after the awards ceremony for pre-season preparations.
In addition to celebrating past achievements, the BCCI has also announced a record financial reward for the national team. The board recently declared a cash prize of ₹131 crore for the squad and support staff that won the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2026, marking one of the largest rewards ever given to an Indian team by the cricket board.
Saikia noted that details about the distribution of the prize money will be shared at a later stage, but confirmed that players, support staff, and selectors will all be included in the reward structure. The awards ceremony is expected to bring together leading figures from Indian cricket and highlight a year marked by significant international success for the country’s teams.
