Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Noida International Airport in Jewar, Uttar Pradesh, on Saturday, describing the project as a major step toward realizing the vision of a “Viksit Uttar Pradesh” and giving new wings to the aspirations of the youth. The inauguration marks a significant milestone in the expansion of India’s aviation infrastructure, complementing the country’s growing network of international airports.
During the visit, PM Modi toured an exhibition detailing the construction journey of the airport and was accompanied by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. Addressing a large gathering, the Prime Minister highlighted the role of the airport in empowering young people and promoting regional development. “I see only young people in the gathering, full of excitement and passion. This project will give new heights to their dreams,” he said.
PM Modi emphasized the airport’s importance for Uttar Pradesh, noting that the state has now become one of India’s leaders in terms of international airport infrastructure.
