This order strengthens KPI’s position in Gujarat, home to India’s largest private solar park, and aligns with its goal of achieving 10 GW of renewable energy capacity by 2030.
The deal follows KPI’s recent successes, including a 300 MW solar project for Coal India and a 1,003.7 MW solar-wind hybrid order from Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited, reinforcing its leadership in India’s renewable energy sector. With Gujarat’s solar capacity at 14,182 MW as of June 2024, such projects are pivotal to India’s 280 GW solar target by 2030.
