IndiGo passengers across India faced difficulties with online check-in and ticketing services on Wednesday after the airline reported intermittent problems with its core reservation platform. The technical issue affected access to the airline's website and app, while passengers at Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport were manually checked in by airline staff. Several flights from the airport also experienced delays, although it was not immediately established whether they were connected to the technical disruption.
In a statement issued at 4.08 pm, IndiGo acknowledged the issue and stated that some customers were finding it difficult to access online services because of intermittent problems with its reservation platform. The airline said its teams were working with a partner on priority to restore normal services. Customers requiring immediate travel assistance were advised to contact the airline's Contact Centre.
Passengers with travel scheduled for a later date were advised to try accessing the IndiGo website or app again after some time. The disruption led to complaints from travellers who reported repeated failures while attempting to complete web check-in or access their accounts. Some passengers also reported difficulties obtaining assistance through customer service channels because of the ongoing system problems.

A source at Delhi airport said the airline's server was down and that the manual check-in process had slightly slowed passenger movement. However, the source indicated that the overall impact at the airport was limited. Airline staff were assisting passengers with check-in procedures while the online systems remained affected.
Several IndiGo flights departing from Delhi were delayed on Wednesday. Flight 6E 6132 to Srinagar departed at 11.57 am, 37 minutes behind schedule, while 6E 6488 to Indore left at 11.59 am, 39 minutes late. Flight 6E 6378 to Siliguri departed at 3.35 pm instead of 2.40 pm, while 6E 2361 to Varanasi left at 3.04 pm, 29 minutes behind schedule. It was not immediately confirmed whether these delays were linked to the reservation-system disruption.
IndiGo has not confirmed that the reported flight delays were caused by the website and reservation-platform problems. The airline said its technical teams were working to resolve the issue and restore online services. Passengers planning to travel with IndiGo have been advised to allow additional time for airport procedures and use the airline's support channels if they require immediate assistance.
