Asus India is strengthening its focus on the country's micro, small and medium enterprises through a long-term partnership with Rajiv Talreja, founder of Quantum Leap and Voice of MSMEs. Under the collaboration, Talreja will serve as a mentor for the MSME segment and help Asus better understand the technology requirements of small businesses. The partnership will focus on the company's Expert series of business PCs and its approach to providing technology designed specifically for professional use.
The collaboration is intended to encourage MSME owners to view business technology as an investment rather than simply an operating expense. Asus said the partnership will focus on helping business leaders make more effective use of PCs while supporting productivity and sustainable growth. Talreja has reportedly trained more than 12 lakh business owners through Quantum Leap's training and coaching programmes. His involvement is expected to provide Asus with direct feedback from the MSME community and help the company align its products with business needs.
Before finalising the partnership, Talreja and his Quantum Leap team used Expert series devices within their own organisation to evaluate the products. This experience is expected to form part of the collaboration as Talreja provides feedback on the practical requirements of small and growing businesses. Asus believes that direct engagement with entrepreneurs can help bridge the gap between the technology available to businesses and the solutions they actually require for everyday operations.

According to Asus, many MSMEs continue to purchase regular consumer laptops through traditional and modern retail channels even when their businesses require purpose-built systems. The company said its research, along with an independent survey conducted through Talreja's community, identified a gap in awareness about business-focused computing solutions. Asus believes this creates an opportunity to help smaller companies select devices designed around professional workloads rather than relying primarily on consumer-oriented products.
The Expert series is positioned by Asus around priorities such as security, performance and easier IT management. The company said its hardware and lifecycle solutions are designed to simplify technology operations, reduce downtime and potentially lower the total cost of ownership for businesses operating across hybrid environments. By working with Talreja, Asus also aims to ensure that its commercial PC offerings remain connected to the evolving needs of MSME founders and their organisations.
Asus sees India's MSME sector as an important contributor to the country's economic growth and expects demand for business technology to increase as smaller companies expand. Dinesh Sharma, Vice President of Asus Commercial PC Business for India, Sri Lanka and Nepal, said the company shares Talreja's vision of helping Indian MSMEs build globally competitive capabilities. The partnership represents a broader effort by Asus to strengthen its presence in the commercial PC market while making its Expert series more relevant and accessible to India's growing small-business community.
