Air India has unveiled an ambitious expansion of its flight network, adding 174 weekly flights to its "Northern Winter Schedule" starting October 26, 2025. The move aims to strengthen connectivity across major domestic routes and high-demand short-haul international destinations, catering to the surge in travel during the winter season, according to an official press release.
Internationally, the airline is enhancing services to Southeast Asia. Flights between Delhi and Kuala Lumpur will increase from seven to ten weekly services starting November 15, while the Delhi-Denpasar (Bali) route will see a similar boost from seven to ten weekly flights beginning December 1. These changes reflect growing passenger demand for these popular destinations.
Domestically, Rajasthan is a key focus, with new routes and increased frequencies. Air India will launch three daily flights between Delhi and Jaipur and two daily flights between Delhi and Jaisalmer. The Delhi-Udaipur route will expand from two to three daily services, while Mumbai will see additional flights to Jaipur, Udaipur, and Jodhpur. Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh will also benefit, with doubled daily flights on routes like Mumbai-Bhuj and Delhi-Rajkot, and increased services from Delhi to Indore and Bhopal.

The expansion extends to other cities, including Varanasi, Raipur, Port Blair, Aurangabad, Guwahati, Nagpur, Dehradun, Patna, and Amritsar. Complementing this growth, Air India’s retrofit program for its Airbus A320neo aircraft, launched in September 2024, is nearly complete. Twenty-six of 27 legacy A320neo aircraft now feature modern three-class cabins—Business, Premium Economy, and Economy—enhancing the travel experience across over 80 domestic and short-haul international routes.
