Nutritionist Richa Doshi has shared a simple two-ingredient wellness drink designed to help reduce inflammation and support gut health. Known as the “Pomegranate and Rosemary Gut Reset,” the drink is said to help alleviate puffiness, bloating, and joint discomfort while offering benefits for skin and hair. Doshi, founder of The Health Studio with over 16 years of experience in clinical nutrition and dietetics, described the beverage as “light, hydrating and extremely simple to add to your routine.”
The recipe is straightforward. First, lightly crush fresh pomegranate seeds. Next, add a small sprig of rosemary, known for its fragrant, needle-like leaves with hints of pine, citrus, and lavender. Pour water over the mixture and allow it to infuse for 10 minutes before straining and consuming. Doshi emphasizes that this infusion period is “where the magic happens.”
The nutritional benefits come from the drink’s key ingredients. Pomegranate is rich in polyphenols that can help lower inflammatory markers such as C-reactive protein (CRP). Rosemary contains rosmarinic acid, which supports gut health by blocking inflammatory pathways and also aids in joint recovery. Together, they create a drink aimed at resetting digestion and supporting overall wellness.

In addition to the gut reset, Doshi previously highlighted the benefits of adding one tablespoon of flaxseeds to a daily diet. According to her, flaxseeds support hormonal balance, boost heart health, improve digestion, reduce inflammation, and assist with healthy weight management. She described them as “literally your best friend, especially for girls.”
These simple dietary strategies, Doshi suggests, can have a significant impact on overall health. Incorporating anti-inflammatory foods and nutrient-rich seeds into daily routines can aid digestion, reduce inflammation, and contribute to better skin and hair.
Doshi encourages people to adopt small, manageable wellness habits like the Pomegranate and Rosemary Gut Reset to enhance their overall well-being, emphasizing that even minimal changes can yield meaningful health benefits.
