Vijay Deverakonda’s skincare brand UNHYPE has sold out its entire launch edition of 10,000 VD Signature Routines within two weeks, generating ₹1.3 crore in revenue during the period. The launch edition comprised 30,000 individual skincare products across its Acne Safe and Brightening routines, marking an early sell-out for the brand. The routines were designed around a three-step skincare approach intended to simplify everyday skincare for Indian consumers.
Each VD Signature Routine combines a face wash, moisturiser and sunscreen as part of the three-step format. The launch edition was opened for pre-booking on September 11, with the brand announcing an initial shipping date of September 21. According to the information released by UNHYPE, all 10,000 routines were pre-booked during the two-week window, resulting in the entire launch edition being sold out.
The two routines offered in the launch edition were the Acne Safe and Brightening variants. Together, they accounted for 30,000 individual products included across the 10,000 VD Signature Routines. The brand has positioned the routines around a straightforward daily skincare format, with the products intended to cover cleansing, moisturising and sun protection within a single routine.

Reacting to the sell-out, Vijay Deverakonda, co-founder of UNHYPE, thanked customers who chose the brand for their daily skincare. He said the team believed in what it had built but described the sale of 10,000 routines in two weeks as an encouraging response. Deverakonda also said the launch edition was completely sold out and that the company was working towards restocking the products for customers who could not purchase them during the initial sale.
The launch performance comes as UNHYPE prepares to expand availability of its regular product lines. With both the Acne Safe and Brightening VD Signature Routines sold out, the brand is set to open sales of its regular Acne Safe and Brightening Routines from October 3. These products will be available through the brand’s website, allowing customers to access the routines beyond the limited launch edition.
The initial two-week performance gives UNHYPE an early milestone following the launch of its skincare products, with ₹1.3 crore in revenue reported from the sale of the VD Signature Routines. The brand’s next phase will involve the wider availability of its regular routines, while Deverakonda indicated that further products and developments are planned. The company is also working to restock the sold-out VD Signature Routines.
