Akshaye Khanna’s recent success in Dhurandhar has renewed attention on the actor’s personal lifestyle, with fans increasingly curious about how he maintains his fitness and calm screen presence. Unlike many of his contemporaries, Khanna has consistently avoided endorsing extreme fitness regimes, instead following habits that align with his comfort and long-term well-being.
In a recent interview, the actor shared insights into his daily routine, revealing that he does not follow conventional eating patterns. He disclosed that he has never been accustomed to eating breakfast and begins his day directly with lunch. He also avoids snacking between meals, limiting his intake to lunch, dinner, and a single cup of tea in the evening.
Khanna highlighted the importance he places on rest, stating that he sleeps for nearly ten hours each day. According to him, adequate sleep is a non-negotiable aspect of his routine, helping him remain physically active and mentally focused, especially during demanding shooting schedules.

His food choices reflect a preference for simplicity and balance. Lunch generally includes dal, rice, vegetables, and a portion of chicken or fish, while dinner consists of roti paired with vegetables and a non-vegetarian dish. He emphasised that his meals are home-cooked, easy to digest, and nutritionally sufficient, with little variation even during film shoots.
Despite maintaining a structured routine, Khanna acknowledged his fondness for sweets and certain favourite foods. He admitted to enjoying items such as cake, lychee, and bhindi, explaining that he does not believe in complete restriction. For the actor, consistency and moderation form the foundation of a lifestyle that supports both health and longevity.
