Shares of several major companies, including Zydus Lifesciences, Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited, Bharat Electronics Limited, JSW Energy and Mankind Pharma, are expected to remain in focus during Tuesday’s trading session as investors track quarterly earnings, corporate announcements and sector-specific developments.
A large number of listed firms are scheduled to announce their financial results, making earnings one of the key drivers of market sentiment. Companies set to report include Bharat Electronics, BPCL, Mankind Pharma, Zydus Lifesciences, Zee Entertainment Enterprises, Karnataka Bank, PI Industries, RITES, Prince Pipes and several others across sectors such as pharmaceuticals, energy, infrastructure, manufacturing and financial services.
Among the companies that declared results after market hours, Astral reported strong year-on-year growth for the fourth quarter. The company posted a 24.2 per cent rise in revenue to Rs 2,089 crore compared to Rs 1,681 crore in the corresponding period last year. EBITDA increased 26.8 per cent to Rs 383 crore, while net profit rose 18.8 per cent to Rs 213 crore.

The company’s EBITDA margin improved slightly to 18.3 per cent from 18 per cent a year ago.Astral’s board also declared a dividend of Rs 2.50 per share and approved the reappointment of Sandeep Engineer as managing director. The company’s earnings are likely to be closely watched by investors for signals regarding demand trends in the building materials and housing segments.
Meanwhile, GIC Housing Finance reported a mixed financial performance for FY26. Total income declined 1 per cent year-on-year to Rs 1,083 crore, while net profit fell 4 per cent to Rs 154 crore. Despite the decline in profitability, the company said total disbursements increased 29 per cent year-on-year to Rs 2,299 crore, indicating continued demand in the housing finance sector.
Market participants are also expected to monitor sectoral movement in oil and gas, defence, pharmaceuticals and energy stocks during the session. Analysts said earnings commentary, management guidance and margin trends could influence near-term investor sentiment as companies continue to release their quarterly and annual performance figures.
