Yash-starrer Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups is recording a strong response ahead of its theatrical release, with advance bookings generating significant pre-release business. The action-packed gangster drama has already sold more than nine lakh tickets across thousands of shows, indicating strong audience interest and raising expectations for its opening at the box office. According to industry tracker Sacnilk, Toxic has sold over nine lakh tickets across nearly 17,780 shows so far. The bookings have generated a gross collection of approximately ₹32.21 crore ahead of release.
When blocked seats are included, the film's advance booking gross rises to around ₹41.36 crore, giving the Yash-led project a substantial pre-release figure. Karnataka, Yash's home state, is currently leading the film's advance booking charts. The strong response from the state is significant given Yash's established popularity among Kannada-speaking audiences. The actor has built a substantial nationwide following following the success of the KGF franchise, and expectations have remained high for his next major theatrical release. The Hindi and Kannada versions of Toxic are also showing a close contest in advance sales.
The Hindi 2D version has generated approximately ₹15.68 crore, putting it slightly ahead of the Kannada 2D version, which has recorded around ₹13.02 crore. The figures indicate that interest in the film extends beyond Yash's home market and that the Hindi release could play an important role in its overall theatrical performance. Premium formats have added further to the film's pre-release business. The Kannada IMAX 2D version has contributed more than ₹76.43 lakh, while the Hindi IMAX 2D version has generated around ₹40 lakh, according to the available booking figures.

The additional business from premium screens suggests that some audiences are willing to pay higher ticket prices to experience the film in large-format theatres. The advance booking performance has increased expectations surrounding Toxic's opening day. Strong pre-release sales can provide a film with a sizeable initial audience base even before it reaches theatres, although final opening collections will depend on factors including occupancy, ticket prices, show availability and audience response after release. The film's positioning as an action-oriented gangster drama has also contributed to anticipation around its theatrical run. Yash's popularity, particularly after the nationwide success of his earlier films, has made Toxic one of the more closely watched upcoming releases.
The advance booking figures indicate that the film has succeeded in generating considerable interest before audiences have seen the finished product. With more than nine lakh tickets already sold and advance gross collections reaching around ₹41.36 crore when blocked seats are included, Toxic has established a strong pre-release momentum. Karnataka remains its biggest market so far, while the competitive performance of the Hindi and Kannada versions points to broad interest across language audiences. The film's eventual opening will determine whether its strong advance booking translates into a major box office debut.
