Television Actress Surbhi Jyoti and Actor-producer Sumit Suri have announced that they are expecting their first child. The couple shared the news on Instagram with a creative photo of their feet alongside a pair of baby shoes, captioned: “||ॐ|| Our greatest adventure begins. Little Love arriving this June.”
The pair tied the knot on October 27, 2024, at the scenic Aahana Resorts in Jim Corbett. The wedding was an intimate affair, attended by close friends, family, and industry colleagues including Rithvikk Dhanjani, Asha Negi, Kishwer Merchant, Suyash Rai, Chirag Paswan, and Vishal Singh. Surbhi Jyoti shared glimpses of the ceremony on Instagram, calling it a “Shubh Vivah.”
Before their wedding, the couple had celebrated pre-wedding festivities, which Surbhi described as a journey honoring nature and tradition. She wrote: “These roots run deep, carrying stories of sunshine and rain, resilience and grace. Sumit and I chose to begin our journey here, under nature's sacred canopy, honouring the trees that stand tall and the five elements that keep us whole.”

Surbhi Jyoti and Sumit Suri reportedly fell in love while working together on the music video Haanji – The Marriage Mantra, where they played a bride and groom. Their planned wedding in March 2024 was postponed due to venue availability and preparations, eventually taking place in October 2024.
On the professional front, Surbhi Jyoti has been part of several popular television shows including Qubool Hai, Naagin, Ishqbaaz, Tanhaiyan, and Koi Laut Ke Aaya Hai. Sumit Suri has appeared in web series like The Test Case (2017-18) and Home (2018) and was also a contestant on Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 4 in 2011.
