Former Nickelodeon co-stars Daniel Curtis Lee and Tylor Chase, known for their roles in Ned’s Declassified School Survival Guide, reunited recently after a video surfaced showing Tylor homeless on the streets of California. Tylor, who played Martin on the 2004 show, appeared unrecognizable in torn clothes and struggling with life on the streets.
In a recent video, Daniel revealed the tragic turn of events after he arranged a hotel stay for Tylor. “We got him into the hotel and just that night I received a call from management. The door was left open, a microwave was in the bathtub, and the refrigerator turned over,” Daniel shared, expressing his devastation over the situation.
Daniel emphasized that the incident highlights the urgent need for mental health support. He mentioned contacting Tylor’s family and suggested that authorities might need to intervene under a 5150 hold to ensure his safety and treatment. Tylor’s past struggles with homelessness and mental health were reportedly ongoing despite prior family interventions.

Despite the setback, Daniel continued his efforts to support Tylor. The two shared a meal at a local pizza place and FaceTimed with fellow Ned’s Declassified alum Devon Werkheiser, demonstrating a strong network of support and concern from friends and colleagues.
Daniel also clarified that he did not provide Tylor with money directly, as Tylor’s mother warned it might be unsafe. He emphasized that professional help and structured rehabilitation were crucial to addressing Tylor’s challenges rather than temporary financial assistance.
The emotional reunion, while heart-wrenching, underscores the difficulties faced by former child stars grappling with mental health and homelessness. Daniel remains committed to helping Tylor access the necessary care and treatment to stabilize his life.
