Mohanlal’s Drishyam 3 continued its theatrical run on Day 9 with a noticeable dip in collections, even as the film maintained a strong overall box office trajectory. The latest installment in the popular thriller franchise has still managed to hold audience interest across domestic and international markets, pushing its worldwide gross past the Rs 200 crore mark.
On its ninth day in theatres, the film earned an estimated Rs 4.30 crore nett in India. This reflects a decline of around 35 per cent compared to the Rs 6.65 crore nett collected on Day 8. Despite the drop, the film continues to perform steadily, particularly in its core market of Kerala, where audience turnout remains comparatively stronger than other regions.
The Malayalam version remains the primary driver of earnings, contributing nearly Rs 4 crore from around 1,826 shows with an average occupancy of approximately 42 per cent. The dubbed versions contributed marginally to the total, with the Telugu version collecting Rs 15 lakh, the Tamil version Rs 10 lakh, and the Kannada version Rs 5 lakh on Day 9.

With its latest figures, Drishyam 3 has taken its India gross collection to Rs 100.08 crore, while the domestic nett total stands at Rs 86.25 crore. Overseas, the film continues its robust performance, reportedly earning Rs 6 crore on Day 9, taking its international gross to Rs 109 crore. Combined, the film’s worldwide gross collection has now reached Rs 209.08 crore.
In terms of rankings, Drishyam 3 has emerged as one of the highest-grossing Malayalam films of 2026. It currently holds the second position among Malayalam releases this year, trailing Vaazha II: Biopic of a Billion Bros, which has grossed Rs 235.26 crore worldwide. The film has also outperformed several other notable titles released this year.
The film opened strongly on its first day with Rs 15.85 crore and maintained solid momentum through its opening week, earning nearly Rs 54.45 crore nett in its first four days and closing its first week at Rs 81.95 crore nett in India. Released globally on May 21, 2026, coinciding with Mohanlal’s 66th birthday, Drishyam 3 is written and directed by Jeethu Joseph and stars Mohanlal as Georgekutty, alongside Meena, Ansiba Hassan, Esther Anil, Siddique, and Asha Sarath in key roles.
