The wait for the digital premiere of “Pati Patni Aur Woh Do” is finally over as Netflix has announced the streaming date for the comedy film starring Ayushmann Khurrana, Sara Ali Khan, Rakul Preet Singh and Wamiqa Gabbi. The film, which released in theatres earlier this year, will begin streaming on Netflix India from July 10, giving audiences who missed its theatrical run a chance to watch the entertainer from the comfort of their homes. Directed by Mudassar Aziz, “Pati Patni Aur Woh Do” is a romantic comedy that explores relationships, misunderstandings and the complications that arise when emotions and expectations collide.
The film features Ayushmann Khurrana in the lead role, with Sara Ali Khan, Rakul Preet Singh and Wamiqa Gabbi playing key characters. Netflix announced the streaming date on Thursday through its official social media channels. Sharing the update, the platform wrote, “Prajapati Pandey are coming soon, with Pati Patni Aur Woh Do. Watch Pati Patni Aur Woh Do, out 10 July, on Netflix.” The announcement confirmed that the film will be available for subscribers in India from July 10. The movie hit theatres on May 15 and marked another addition to the romantic comedy genre in Bollywood.
While theatrical releases continue to remain important for filmmakers, digital platforms have increasingly become a major avenue for films to reach a larger audience after their cinema run. The OTT release allows viewers across different regions to access films that may not have received a wide theatrical reach. “Pati Patni Aur Woh Do” serves as a follow-up to the 2019 film “Pati Patni Aur Woh”, which starred Kartik Aaryan, Bhumi Pednekar and Ananya Panday. The earlier film was inspired by the 1978 classic of the same name and revolved around themes of marriage, attraction and personal conflicts. The new film carries forward the franchise with a different cast and storyline while retaining its focus on relationship-based humour.

From social dramas to unconventional comedies, the actor has built a reputation for selecting scripts that explore everyday situations through a unique perspective. His role in “Pati Patni Aur Woh Do” adds another comedy-driven performance to his filmography. The film also brings together actors from different generations of Hindi cinema. The arrival of “Pati Patni Aur Woh Do” on Netflix comes at a time when audiences are increasingly turning towards OTT platforms for new releases and entertainment content. Streaming services have changed the way viewers consume films, offering flexibility and access to movies shortly after their theatrical releases. With its popular cast, comedy-driven storyline and franchise connection, “Pati Patni Aur Woh Do” is expected to attract viewers looking for a light-hearted Bollywood entertainer. The film will officially start streaming on Netflix India from July 10. Fans of romantic comedies and Ayushmann Khurrana’s work can watch the movie once it becomes available on the platform.
