Taylor Swift and Hugh Jackman may be drawn into the ongoing legal battle between Blake Lively and her ‘It Ends With Us’ co-star and director Justin Baldoni. According to a report by the Daily Mail, both celebrities are reportedly on a shortlist to be summoned in connection with the spiralling case.
The conflict began in December 2024, when Lively sued Baldoni for alleged sexual harassment, emotional distress, and lost wages related to the production. Baldoni responded in January 2025 with a $400 million countersuit, accusing Lively and her husband Ryan Reynolds of defamation and attempting to control the film’s creative direction using their celebrity clout.
Now, Swift and Jackman could be pulled into the fray. A source claimed Swift may soon be served legal documents, possibly at Casa Cipriani in New York, and that she is “waiting” for it. Baldoni’s legal team alleges Lively used her close friendship with Swift to pressure Baldoni during a script rewrite session at her NYC penthouse, where Reynolds and an unnamed “famous, and famously close” friend were also present. Though Swift wasn’t named directly in court filings, she was strongly implied.

A message from Baldoni cited in court, in which he wrote “I would have felt that way without Ryan or Taylor,” has been scrutinized as evidence of undue influence. His lawyers described Swift and Reynolds as “dragons” that Lively could “unleash.”
Jackman’s involvement stems from Deadpool & Wolverine, co-starring Reynolds. The film features a character fans believe is a parody of Baldoni, raising questions about whether Jackman had knowledge of the portrayal.
While summons have not been officially confirmed, if issued, Swift and Jackman’s testimonies could significantly influence the high-profile case. The trial is scheduled for March 2026.
