American comedian and actor Kevin Hart has cancelled his upcoming show in India following the recent terror attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir. Hart, who was set to perform his "Acting My Age" special in Delhi on April 30, made the decision out of respect and solidarity with those affected by the tragedy.
Known for his roles in ‘Get Hard’, ‘The Wedding Ringer’, and the ‘Ride Along’ franchise, Hart was scheduled to make his India debut with the Delhi performance. However, organisers District by Zomato announced the show's cancellation on Sunday via Instagram.
"In light of the recent tragic events, we, along with Kevin Hart’s team, have decided to cancel the upcoming Delhi show scheduled for April 30th," the statement read. "While we were looking forward to gathering with all of you, we believe it’s important to pause and stand in solidarity with those affected."

The organisers also confirmed that full refunds would be processed automatically for all ticket holders. They added that they are working closely with Hart’s team to explore a possible rescheduling of the performance, with updates to be shared in the coming weeks.
The Pahalgam terror attack, which occurred last Tuesday, claimed the lives of 26 people, most of them tourists, sending shockwaves across the country.
In the wake of the tragedy, several other artists, including singers Arijit Singh, Shreya Ghoshal, AP Dhillon, and Papon, have also postponed their live events in India.
Hart’s decision reflects a broader trend of entertainers choosing to stand with the victims and their families during this difficult time, as the nation mourns the loss of innocent lives.
